Hyperthermia Thermal Therapy

As children, we easily created fevers when exposed to a bacteria or virus.

This was as an important and appropriate response from our immune system.

Our elevated body temperature produced a less hospitable environment for these pathogens to live and replicate.

As we age, this response weakens and we become more susceptible .

If our bodies are unable to produce a fever, then pathogens will remain alive.

We then slip into a low-grade system, chronic infection and these organisms will persist without any obvious signs of infection.

Various resulting symptoms will be vague including chronic fatigue, low-grade inflammation, brain fog and many others.

This ends in frustration because your physician, after extensive lab testing will proclaim that all your labs look normal.

Therefore, your physician will be unable to determine the cause of your symptoms, because there is no lab test which indicates a low-grade infection, except for maybe a low white blood cell count.

Hippocrates claimed, ‘Give me the power to create a fever, and I shall cure any disease.’

Full Body Thermo-Therapy

Hyperthermia has been used since the early 1970s for a variety of chronic conditions, including cancer.

The primary benefit of this therapy is the activation of the immune system and an increase in the number of white blood cells, thus reducing the number of pathogens.

We have also found it very useful for detoxification, of various endocrine disrupting chemicals which have accumulated in various tissues over a person’s lifetime.

Heat activates cellular metabolism which increases their excretion.

Many toxic residues are stored or compartmentalized in fat cells just under the skin.

The body’s response to an increase in body temperature is to sweat, as a means to cool down.

This is an important pathways of detoxification, so not only is this hyperthermia therapy helping with improving immunity and internal purification, but fat detoxification as well.

All Hyperthermia Is Not The Same

During the therapy the patient lies horizontally in a heating dome with their head out to prevent overheating of the head.

The heat of the dome is adjusted based upon a person’s core body temperature, their comfort and their response.

Monitoring this core body temperature is extremely important.

The body’s core temperature is raised anywhere from 101 to 104 degrees, with the lower temperatures selected for the initial treatments, and increased with additional treatments.

Once the body reaches the goal temperature, it is held for up to 2 hours, and followed by a warm shower.

There are clinics providing Thermal Therapy using various hyperthermia units.

The most important point we want to make is, you need to know the person’s core body temperature.

How to know this?

The only way is the use of a digital rectal thermometer.

There is not accuracy using either a sublingual or ear thermometer.  They do not measure core body temperature.

This digital thermometer is connected with its app, offering immediate accurate measurements.

This is the only safe means of monitoring, to ensure the full benefits of this therapy.

Oxidative vs Antioxidant

As the body temperature rises, cells begin to detoxify and the release of these residues requires antioxidants to neutralize and scavenge them.

This is why it is important to provide the body with antioxidants such as vitamin C.

We supply this vitamin C intravenously, which can be done just before or during the hyperthermia therapy.

Vitamin C is also the primary nutrient which our white blood cells need to function optimally.

Remember, white cells have primarily two functions.

The first is to secrete hydrogen peroxide to kill pathogens, and the other is to clean the blood, by engulfing pathogens and debris, what is termed phagocytosis.

Vitamin C to the rescue!

This combination of raising the body’s temperature along with IV vitamin C is possibly the best way to improve a person’s overall health.
