Cell Danger Response
Every cell has an innate survival mechanism to protect it from the damaging effects of infections (bacterial, mold and viruses), environmental toxins, heavy metals, trauma, and even detrimental emotions.
Our cells shift from growth and repair to survival and defense. Our mitochondria shift from energy production by altering their structural form, to then focus primarily on defense.
Cell membranes close borders to reduce permeability and to prevent the entry of toxins including biotoxins from bacteria and mycotoxins from mold.
Energy or ATP leaks out of cells through channels as an alarm signal to warn neighboring cells and to coordinate an innate immune response.
Normal repair and detoxification functions are paused and cells prioritize survival over optimal cell-tissue function.
If the causes of this condition persist the body is locked in a permanent state of inflammation and fatigue, presenting a wide range of symptoms.
In most cases, even when the causes are removed, i.e., the bacterial infection is resolved or the environmental mold is remediated, cells remain locked in this CDR state.
The most likely reasons for this is because the toxins, biotoxins, mycotoxins, viral residues, metals, etc. are lodged in the lipid membranes of cells, acting as a type of memory, keeping them in a PTSD type of signal.
The only way to heal, to return to health, is to provide what is needed to repair cell membranes, and in this process, to release and extract these cell membrane toxins.
All membranes are made of cholesterol and various phospholipids which includes phosphatidyl choline, phosphatidyl ethanolamine, phosphatidyl inositol and phosphatidyl serine.
These can be ingested orally. One liquid supplement comes from Body Bio and a powder from Synergy. With oral supplements, people with gut issues may not absorb enough to correct the problem. Even still, it is an option for many people.
Plaquex IV Therapy
The preferred and most effective route is intravenous using Plaquex. Obviously, this is the most direct and effective route. The amount per IV depends upon each case, but with everyone, the first few IVs are on the conservative side.
Why? As cells receive these regenerative lipids, membranes undergo repair, and toxins are flushed from the membranes into the circulation. Thus, being conservative in the beginning will reduce systemic detox symptoms.
Another aspect of repair pertains to damaged mitochondria. Certainly, since mitochondria’s inner and outer membranes are made from the lipids mentioned above, Acetyl L-Carnitine shuttles fatty acids into these membranes. This supplement is also an antioxidant that prevents further damage to mitochondria and promotes regeneration. Dosage is 1,500-3,000 milligrams divided throughout the day.
Acetyl L-Carnitine is often combined with Alpha Lipoic Acid, another booster for mitochondrial activity.
