Dr. Voll, MD

Dr. Reinhardt Voll was a medical doctor who became disillusioned with the allopathic medical system and decided to train in Eastern medicine and acupuncture.

He found wrist pulse readings challenging because of his large fingers.  Being an engineer, he designed a unit to measure electrical energy or Chi in acupuncture points.

With his design he could not only measure points but could place various substances into the testing circuit to witness their effects upon the points.  These were supplements, medications, and homeopathic remedies.

If a point showed an abnormal reading, finding a substance which corrected the point would help to clarify an underlying cause and would recommend the use of the remedy to improve the person’s health.

Parasites

As an example, if there is an abnormal reading on the small intestine point this could indicate any of the following.

  • Food allergies
  • Abnormal gut bacteria
  • Parasites
  • Leaky gut
  • Yeast or Candida

Then various vials of substances are placed into the circuit one at a time, such as foods, herbs, and pharmaceuticals, to help with the differential of what underlying issues are causative.

As an example regarding parasites, these are some of the vials to place into the circuit.

Herbs

  • Mimosa pudica
  • Vidanga
  • Wormwood
  • And others

Pharmaceuticals

  • Ivermectin
  • Albendazole
  • Mebendazole
  • Fenbendazole
  • And others

But why not do a stool test for parasites?

We used to do ova and parasitology stool testing. We changed course and now use electrodermal testing because of our experience with one patient experiencing typical parasitic symptoms.

  • Anal itching
  • Digestive issues
  • Grinding teeth at night
  • Insomnia which was worse with the full moon
  • History of GI issues ever since traveling to a foreign country

His O&P results came back normal, no parasites. Considering there are so many types of parasites and a typical lab may check for around fifteen, we decided to prescribe two antiparasitic herbs.  Within three days he saw several parasites in his stool.

List of Underlying Causes

Here is a list of underlying causes of chronic symptoms which we can ask about using electrodermal screening. Many of these are challenging to uncover with more traditional testing.

  • Parasites
  • Candida
  • Food allergies
  • Infected root canals which are often painless and therefore are not investigated by a dentist. These can contain silent smoldering bacterial infections.
  • Dental cavitations
  • Scar interference fields
  • Tonsil infection related to a tonsillectomy scar which harbor bacteria
  • Adrenal fatigue
  • Heavy metals
  • Low production of hydrochloric acid by stomach cells
  • Gall bladder intoxication
  • Viral issues

It is important to know that electrodermal screening is not a standalone, meaning that further lab investigations should be used to confirm when possible.

Before any testing, there is the consultation and the person’s answers to questions regarding their symptoms.  From this we have an idea of what the underlying issues are, and the electrodermal screening helps to clarify what these causes are.

Again, we would never rely on this screening as a standalone diagnostic tool.

This testing is always done in coordination with the darkfield microscope which helps to determine if the following are also issues.

  • Low grade systemic bacterial issue
  • Mold
  • Activity of white blood cells
  • Fibrin or protein strands due to low hydrochloric acid production by stomach cells
  • Microclots
  • Candida

The Microscope is another tool and never used by itself without additional information.
