Ozone Therapy IV

The use of ozone has been used medically for over 50 years and has proven to be a very safe and effective solution for many chronic conditions, especially when infections are an underlying cause of inflammation and chronic fatigue.

Ozone therapy directly reduces blood pathogens including bacteria, viruses and molds.

White blood cell activity is increased.

During the treatment stem cell production and liberation are both increased.

Increased mitochondrial activity within cells which promotes cellular detoxification of accumulated residues.

Types of IV Ozone Therapies

There are several ways of administering IV ozone.

The first is the direct injection of ozone into the vein.  We do not recommend this approach for several reasons including an issue with vein inflammation at the site of the injection which leads to sclerosis or hardening of the vein.

There is MAH or Major Auto Hemotherapy. In this treatment about 60cc of blood are extracted from the vein into a sterile syringe.  This blood is injected into an IV bag containing about 100 cc of 0.9% sodium chloride and mixed well.  Ozone is then added to the bag and gently mixed.  This ozonated blood is returned to the vein.

Then there’s the EBOO or Extracorporeal Blood Oxygenation Ozonation treatment which is set up as a loop between a vein on the right arm and a vein on the left.  Blood is removed from one vein, treated with an oxygen-ozone mixture, filtered and returned to the other vein.

We have decided not to advance to the EBOO because of complaints we’ve heard from clients. We think this approach is treating too much blood and overwhelms the immune system with so much dead organisms being returned into the bloodstream.

Over the years, before the 10-Pass we have performed about 300 MAH treatments.  Since we began the 10-Pass about five years ago, we have performed at least 1,000 and have never had any complications.  Know that the 10-Pass session treats about 2 liters of blood.

Instrument & Materials Used

For Ozone IV Therapy we use the new Zotzmann Ozone Generator from Germany.

All materials are sterile and single use only including glass vacutainer, tubing, IV sets, needles, etc.

The hospital grade oxygen used for ozone production comes from a certified for use cylinder.

Zotzmann Ozone Therapy Session

The Zotzmann creates a vacuum within a sterile 250cc glass vacutainer which gently draws blood from the vein.

When the glass vacutainer is full the Zotzmann pushes a specific amount and concentration of ozone into the vacutainer to be mixed with the blood.

The Zotzmann creates gentle pressure inside the glass vacutainer to move this ozonated blood from the vacutainer back into the vein.

This cycle is repeated ten times and considered one session.

The entire session lasts between 1.5 to 2.5 hours.

As mentioned in other sections it is important to have a look at your blood under the dark-field microscope before the first Z treatment.  This way we can take a look at the level of pathogens and how active your white blood cells are.

Please note: with good accessible veins the 10-pass session lasts between 1.5 to 2.5 hours.  If your veins are relatively small and we cannot complete the 10 pass in 2.5 hours then we will have to stop.  You will still be billed the full price.

It might be best to come in ahead of time for us to assess your veins and you could also have the microscope examination done at the same time.

Scheduling and Cost of 10-Pass

To schedule ozone treatments, you must first have a consultation with Dr. Haskell.  This is normally an hour to an hour and a half.  Please see the section on first appointment scheduling.  During this visit we will view your blood under a darkfield microscope to see if a bacterial or mold infection exists.

The population or concentration will help determine how many treatments are necessary.  Your height and weight will determine total blood volume, a determining factor for the recommended number of treatments.

If veins are a good size, the 10-Pass takes anywhere between one to two hours.

We have found it extremely useful to combine ozone treatments with IV vitamin C.

When blood is treated with ozone and returned to the vein, a tremendous number of dead bacteria and or dead mold is now in the circulation.  It’s up to your white blood cells to clear these dead organisms, what is termed phagocytosis.  Most people’s white cells are not all that capable of doing this.  Vitamin C feeds and activates white cells to take on this task of clearing these organisms.

Here is the typical scheduling for a person weighing approximately 180 pounds who requires two ozone treatments.

Day 1: Ozone 10-Pass

Day 2: IV vitamin C

Day 3: Ozone 10-Pass

Day 4 or soon after the last 10-Pass: Follow up microscope with Dr. Haskell

What are the charges for each?

Each ozone 10-pass $550

IV vitamin C (12 grams) and other nutrients $150.

Half hour follow up with Dr. Haskell for microscope $125.

When you schedule the appointments, you will receive instructions regarding preparation, hydration and oral enzymes.
